Easter Basket Planning

Yet another holiday is coming up and I've already started planning Harlow's 1st Easter basket. I can't believe this will be her 7th holiday (counting New Years and St. Patrick's Day) with us.

Pottery Barn Kids makes the CUTEST Easter basket liners. This past weekend I picked up a white basket from A.C. Moore for $4. I happened to hit them on sale and used a 40% off coupon!

How cute are these purple fawn leggings?! And jellies are perfect for spring and summer. I remember having these in several colors.

                                                Leggings                                                                  Jellies

I personally can't think of Easter without thinking of adorable stuffed animals. I'm loving this locally made lamb (shop local!) and this JellyCat bunny is too cute.

                                            Lamb                                                                                JellyCat Bunny

Every holiday we give Harlow a book. Either will be perfect.

The Velveteen Rabbit                                                                  Pat the Bunny

And because my kid is currently teething and drooling like crazy, a bunny shaped teether! I saw these glitter Easter eggs at Target and thought it would be fun to put a headband in, tights, or some rolled up leggings.

                                          Teether                                                                           Glitter Easter Eggs

So there you go, an Easter basket that doesn't involve any candy! Perfect for an (almost) 7 month old!

5 Months

Size (Diapers, Onesies, Etc.): We moved up to size 2 diapers! Wearing 6 month and some 6/9 clothing.

Eyes: Blue.

Hair: Yes, it's crazy how fast her hair is growing!

Sleeping: Taking two good naps a day (sometimes up to 3 hours long, mama loves that). Waking up 1x at night to eat and goes back to sleep.

-Day: Drinking 6 oz. every 4 to 4.5 hours
-Night: Wakes up around 4 to eat and goes back until 8 or after.

Milestones: 1st snow, or should I say a dusting. She had her 1st 'pee through her diaper/clothes and onto her crib sheet' and of course it was in the middle of the night. We also had our 1st poop explosion that went up her back and onto her clothes. Maybe I got lucky, but that was the 1st time that has ever happened. Drool, drool, drool. 1st tooth (front: bottom right) and then she got another tooth (front: bottom left)!!! She recognizes her name: Harlow and Lolo. She is obsessed with the dogs and watches them walk around. She will reach out to grab them (sorry pups) if they are close. This past Sunday was her 1st time in our church's nursery. I've been holding out due to flu season but she's so talkative, we had to do it! My goal was 6 months, so it happened a month early. She's sitting up supported but is doing so well I don't think she'll need support much longer. She learned how to roll her Rs, which is the cutest thing ever. And holds her bottle now!

Memorable Outings: Nothing memorable. Just the normal: Target trips, out to eat, and out to run errands.

Loves: Jumperoo, baths, her blanket, Twilight Ladybug, rocking her before sleep -- Although I've had to stop that because she was relying on that to fall asleep.

Hates: cleaning her nose, cleaning her earrings and when she's sleepy.

Words/Sounds: She says "ninny" (milk) when she is hungry and crying. Lots of babble. Making the "tah-tah" sound, so I think Dada will be soon.

Nicknames: Lolo, Harley, stinky head.

Funny Moments: We were in Target and I was taking forever to pick out a new rug for our living room. She became fussy and wouldn't calm down. So Joe took her carseat out of the shopping cart and started swinging it from left to right and she stopped immediately. He stood there doing that until I FINALLY picked out our new rug. Oh our life now :)
